I am a sucker for a delicious smoothie.I love the fact that I can make one in a few minutes when I am on-the-go. I have a rather busy schedule during the week, being a full time working mom and I do not always have the time to have a decent breakfast. This 3 minute smoothie has transformed my life!
I am currently working on being more consistent in my exercise. If you read my gym hustle post you would be familiar with my struggle. I also have issues with irregular bowel movements and really need to make an effort to have extra fibre in my diet to be a happy and comfy mommy. I wanted to share my current breakfast smoothie that takes me literally 3 minutes to make. Well, that’s 3 minutes if you have a blender as fast as a Nutribullet. I coaxed my hubby into buying one two weeks ago and it changed my life dramatically. What used to take me 10 minutes I can blend in 10 to 30 seconds now, A-maze!
Anyway this isn’t a sponsored post so let me cut to the chase, lol. Below is a quick recipe for my power smoothie. Note that I made use of Flaxseed powder and Chia seeds specifically for Omega 3, added fibre, boosted energy and to support my eating plan #weightgoals. This smoothie can also be given to your little one, just be careful about the amount of fibre. You might want to leave out either the flaxseed powder or the chia seeds. You can also take out the bananas and add in a different fruit. This will keep you full for some good hours and you tummy will thank you.
