When you have your first baby you soon realise the importance of listening to and engaging with people who have gone through or are going through the same experience as you. We do it to feel better about ourselves, to confirm that we aren’t going crazy, to learn from each other, to laugh at things that would otherwise make us want to cry or drink, to feel like we aren’t alone and to generally cope with parenting! Let’s face it, being a parent to those cute, drooling little ones can be a complete test of character and stability.
Thankfully, in this day and age you don’t have to invite someone over to your place to have a heart-to-heart or engage in some real talk. You can simply read a blog that speaks your language or tune into a vlog for some rich, quality viewing pleasure (and support).
Today we have decided to share a vlog that is at the top of our crush list because it is just so honest, relatable and funny! Lindelwe Mbugua, a professional Chartered Accountant, wife and new mommy has created an exciting new vlog series called The Real African Mommy Diaries.
She is popularly known for her Snatched Youtube series that she co-hosts. Her vlog series about juggling her various roles since becoming a mom and wife, adjusting to her new life and her quest to somehow remain an individual through it all.
Below is Lindi’s first ever episode and we are eagerly waiting for the next episode which will be airing soon. Enjoy!
