So, fitness is not my thing. I have come to terms with it. I just lack consistency, motivation and focus. I have been a member of Virgin Active for over 5 years now, and I could count how many times I have been to the gym. I even lied to myself that one club was too limiting and I needed to be able to gym from work, home or on holiday so I subscribed for national membership, WHAT A JOKE!
When I became a mommy to Kiki I told myself that being a new mom in a full-time job, with mouths to feed and a very poor sleeping pattern was just too much of a demanding situation for me to work out. It reduced my guilt for a year. My daughter is now two and I honestly do have time to work out, but I don’t. In stark contrast, my sister Ida, who had a baby 4 months after me is so physically active and committed to the gym life.
She gyms all week, goes for park runs on Saturdays after a night out and I just don’t LOL. That is how I know I am full of excuses and honestly, fitness is not my thing. I am currently debating canceling my gym subscription but I am not mentally ready to accept that I am this person.
This morning I went for a run and it felt exhilarating, tomorrow when my alarms goes off at 5 am though I really can’t promise that I won’t turn it off! I need help! Anyway, for anyone looking to get fit again and doesn’t want to go to gym, I would like to share this useful fitness find that I stumbled on for home gymming vibes. POPSUGAR Fitness is this amazing health and fitness resource that will motivate you to work out and eat well. They just make it look so fun and easy. Their mission says it all:

They also have 6 minute workout video for moves that will improve your sex life (wink wink)!!!
